Glamorgan 121 and The Glam

Glamorgan121 were delighted to be the official sponsors of The Glam gala concert in St David’s Hall, Cardiff on Saturday the 29th August.

It was an honour to be able play the Trombone in a stunning Orchestra that was conducted among others by the legendary Sir Karl Jenkins, Wyn Davies and Terry ‘DRAC’ Johns, which also accompanied the Glam choir and Glam Junior choir.

All in all it was a fantastic experience which young people will miss out on if the austerity measures that are sweeping through our education system continue.

I am a passionate believer in the aims of The Glam organisation and highly recommend you take a look at this brief documentary about the organisation and what it hopes to achieve in our communities.

We will be investing more of our time and energies into the Glam in the future, as music brings both young and old in the community we serve together – and we will keep you up to speed with all things Glam, including videos of the St David’s Hall concert in future.
